How to engage MindScapes.

MindScapes doesn't operate as a solo consultancy. We assemble purpose-built teams — operators, technologists, educators, funders, and partners — around the system you're trying to build. Three ways to engage, scoped to fit the work.

Leaders who recognize that single-discipline consulting isn't enough — and that the real work happens at the seams between infrastructure, workforce, and AI.

Three Ways to Engage

Advisory. Build & Launch. Speaking, Writing & Briefings.

Three ways to work with MindScapes. Each one covers a range of engagement depth and duration — the right fit gets worked out in the conversation.

Best First Engagement

Not sure where to start?

Most clients begin with one of three first steps. Each one is scoped to give you a real answer fast, without committing to a longer engagement before the work has earned it.

01

Board or leadership briefing

Half-day to one-day session

A focused session to frame the opportunity, the risks, and the next decisions. Right when leadership needs alignment before committing to a direction.

02

30-day systems diagnostic

Short-cycle engagement

Map what's already built, what's disconnected, and where the highest-leverage move is. Output: a written diagnostic and a prioritized roadmap.

03

90-day launch sprint

Focused build phase

A scoped build phase for software, workforce, infrastructure, or partnership initiatives that need to move now. Output: shipped programs, platforms, or coalitions.

For Founders & Small Businesses

A practical doorway for founders and growing businesses.

MindScapes works with small businesses through the same three engagement types — Advisory, Build & Launch, and Speaking, Writing & Briefings — but the work itself often looks different. AI is creating capacity small teams could never afford before. Tonya helps founders and small business owners decide what to invest in, what to build, what to wait on, and how to design operations that scale without breaking.

Common Work
  • AI operational strategy — what to build, what to buy, what to skip
  • Tech stack design for businesses moving from solo to scaled
  • Product-market fit for early-stage founders
  • Channel strategy and revenue stream design
  • Marketing & communications guidance
  • CMMC certification support for SMBs in the DoD supply chain
Ecosystem Roles

Tonya serves on the Groover Labs Accel-KS Grant Evaluation Committee — interviewing 60+ proof-of-concept applicants and providing product-market fit and technology support to every grant winner. She's a founding leader of 1 Million Cups Wichita, a board member of NXTUS, a mentor in the Campfire series, and a regular speaker at WIBA. A meaningful portion of MindScapes' small business work is delivered pro bono through these channels.
